HOLLY H. BARNES, Associate

Ms. Barnes is an associate of the Houston, Texas based intellectual property law firm of Goldstein, Faucett & Prebeg. Ms. Barnes focuses her practice on patent infringement litigation and the protection of clients' intellectual property rights. Ms. Barnes has been involved in patent litigation lawsuits across the country and is one of eleven patent litigation lawyers currently practicing with the firm. Ms. Barnes' practice is primarily based upon contingency fee patent litigation, seeking the recovery of patent infringement damages for clients while minimizing their out-of-pocket expenditures. While focusing on plaintiffs' contingent fee litigation, Ms. Barnes also continues to represent clients in other areas of intellectual property, including licensing and contract negotiations and trademark prosecution.

Experience
- Prior to and while attending law school, Ms. Barnes worked as an analyst at Tanox, Inc. (now part of Genentech, Inc.) in their research department developing monoclonal antibodies for mediating allergic and disease responses
- Ms. Barnes also clerked for the Office of the General Counsel at Baylor College of Medicine before joining Goldstein, Faucett and Prebeg in 2003
